Green Leader Certification Program
New Program
This new program gives businesses a new competitive edge by showing their customers how environmentally friendly they are. The Friends of the Beautification Commission has partnered with the Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce (HSAVCC) to help area companies, businesses, and organizations improve their green practices. This innovative program gives local businesses a way to bring their green image to the public’s attention in a certified manner.
Here’s how it works: one of our trained staff or volunteers with ‘green’ business experience will arrange to come out to your company and go through the certification checklist to evaluate your current products, services, and systems. We will tell you what level of certification you qualify for at that moment and give you your door/window sticker and mounted certificate straight away, but we will also give you a check list of changes you could make to raise your certification level even higher. We will happily recheck your business for higher levels of certification free for a whole year. These recommended changes are guaranteed to save you money and increase profitability.
The program launched in September 2010 and is off to a great start with several evaluations completed and more planned!
The evaluation and certification is only $100 per year with 20% discounts for HSAVCC and/or Friends of the Beautification Commission members! Businesses are offered recertification for a full year to allow them to upgrade to a higher level at no cost. Click here to complete and submit our online form.
